This outfit can be a date night or casual outfit. I love my heels and would live in them, but when I am doing field experiences some schools do not allow tall heels. Right now I can only wear my heels on weekends and days I am not at my field experience. My outfit consists of a tan leather jacket, a long sleeve, black, v neck shirt (it was cold), skinny blue jeans, and nude pumps. My make up is my normal everyday brown smokey eye look and my hair is a ponytail with a tall poof in the front to add height as well as go with the theme of "CLASSY ROCKER." This outfit can also be worn with your hair down either straight or curly. Lastly, when buying a women's leather jacket make sure it is tailored in order to accentuate your curves not hid them. Hiding curves will cause your to look heavier than you are or man-like with a rectangular body.
Back to business. I wore this to my field experience today and it's cold weather again. Add some rain and you have the weather here. I only have six more field experience sessions for this semester which is bittersweet. Bitter because I will miss my tutor student, but sweet because I will get to dress like a college student again which I will only have this semester and summer to do. Oh well have to grow up sometime, but I'm excited for what the future holds.
Umm... so there is something that doesn't resemble a monsoon or a blizzard in Georgia today and IT'S GREAT! The temperature is warm and everyone is sitting outside on campus during their free time. I seized the opportunity to show off my legs and hopefully get a little color on them. It's beginning to look a lot like Spring!!!
I am wanting SPRING weather. It is supposed to warm up this week, but it's not quite there so I am sporting a short sleeve, cheetah patterned shirt with skinny jeans, flip flops, and a bright pink scarf (my favorite color). It was almost warm enough for shorts today, but the wind killed that dream when I stepped outside this morning. I find bright colors really help wake you up as well as alter your mood especially when you have to be inside from 8:00am-2:30pm or if your struggling with the spring forward time change.
I'm going to another field experience today and decided that even though it looks dreary outside I was going to wear fun, spring/summer clothes. I will be wearing a white cardigan over my dress. I curled my hair because I was trying out hairstyles for the spring break trip with A and our friends. These colors just make me smile on a day like this!!!
I am wearing my size 6 dress slacks today and I am so happy to be back in them! I paired it with a float blouse and nude flats. Still rocking my bun and my favorite eye make up!! This is me going to a field experience and is one of the variations I wear beyond my sweater shirt combo.
I taught my music lesson to my peers today and this is what I like to call one of my power outfits! A power outfit is an outfit that makes you feel confident and look good. I like to think that this outfit had a lot to do with me doing well today!!! I got a 94! My eye make up is my new favorite look and my hair was just put in a simple bun. This is usually my outfit basic for my field experiences which consists of slacks, flats, a shirt/tank, and a sweater. This shirt is a shirt I refashioned from a dress I found at Goodwill and changed into a shirt. My hair is in a half up half down because this was my second day hairstyle which meant my bangs were a little flat.
NO BODY PAINT IN SIGHT!!!!! It's ok if your not the paint your body type sports fan. You can still show your team spirit and look pretty. I usually incorporate my team colors on game day or you can just pick one. I also, like to incorporate our mascot, which is the owls, in my jewelry because I own tons of owl jewelry. Our colors are a yellow and black, so today I chose a black and white polka dot shirt, jeans, and nude pumps. (If I wanted to do both colors today instead of just one I would put my black pumps on and add my yellow coach wristlet) My owl accessories were my owl charm that is always on my Pandora bracelet and a whimsical owl ring that I got from a boutique in Elijay, GA called THE OWLS NEST. I don't always dress up and do have school spirit shirts and sweatshirts that I mix in. My outfit for my wonderful Valentine's Day Date consisted of a red sheath dress, with cap sleeves, and belted empire waist. I decided to not wear my black sweater, but kept the black pumps and had my black coach wristlet as a purse. My belt is a grey, white, and black snake skin belt.
