I had to bump my squat weight down to 135 lbs turns out ignorance is bliss was harder to lift 145 lbs knowing it was 145. I also, only did two sets of leg extensions because my knee caps made the sound rice krispies make and I did not do the one legged lunges as well due to this sound. I also was only able to do 20 minutes of cardio because of shooting pain in knees. I will be staying out of the gym tomorrow but will be back in on Wednesday if feeling ok. (workout date 11/4/2014)

I did not realize it at the time, but later upon discussion with A I realized I did something amazing. Here was our conversation:
Me: "I was going to up my weight by ten to 100 lbs. but the 100lbs on the big weights were heavier than the small weights." A: "What weights did you put on?" Me: " A 45 plus the bar which is 45 which equals 90 and then two 5lbs to equal ten which totals 100." A: "Wait what repeat your weights again." Me: I repeat the above sentence. A: "Oh my goodness Kenzie, no you squatted 145 lbs. How many of those did you do?" Me: "My normal three sets of twelve reps." A: "Good Job Babe!" Me: "... OMG!!!!! I SQUATTED 145 POUNDS." Needless to say I was on cloud nine the rest of the day and it only took until two days after and a discussion with A to figure out my accomplishment was greater than I had thought. I had originally thought I was weak because I thought I wasn't able to up my weight that workout, but turns out I had made almost a 50 pound increase. able to squat 100 POUNDS!!!! I just did running for my cardio. I didn't go Monday because I am fighting a cold and also I got a mild concussion on Friday, so I figured I needed to wait at least four days before I got back to heavy lifting. It was nice and it actually focused my mind which I was happy about because I have been feeling like a complete airhead the past couple of days due to me mixing things up, forgetting things, and lacking the ability to focus on anything without it being an arduous task. A told me that since I had a week off of weights that my strength may have dipped a little and I might not be lifting my usual amount, but I was surprised that I not only was able to lift what I was lifting before my week off, but I was able to up some of my weights by ten
pounds. I am now squatting 85 pounds and closer to my goal of being able to squat A just for the pure fun of it!!! am squatting 75 pounds now and am so excited. A and I were joking that pretty soon I will be able to squat him, but not likely cause he's made of complete muscle and in the upper one-hundreds due to his muscle mass. I still have a long way to go, but I'll get there! lbs. I love leg days because I feel like I work the hardest. My legs are one of the areas that I am trying to better myself in the most and that is probably why I work so hard on them because I understand the harder you work the more progress you see. I also added on holding myself up on the dip machine and doing normal crunches and oblique crunches that way which is something I think I will continue to work on every workout I do. I upped my weights and I'm now officially squatting three sets of 60lbs 12 times and leg pressing two sets of 85lbs 12 times!!! I'm seeing my body still continuing to tighten which is great and I haven't hit a plateau yet (knock on wood) do to fitness Barbie's workouts that are switched up frequently.

I lifted heavier weight then I had the previous weeks and it was definitely challenging. I then decided to do a walking treadmill workout, so it would be less impact on my knees since I had already killed them in my workout. I only did 20 minutes of this workout because it was too much with leg day.

Yay I'm at the start of my last week of my first month which means I should definitely be seeing some results and I have seen major strides in the direction that I want my body to head. My leg days and all weight days consist of a simple set up: 5 minute warm-up on cardio machine of choice, Fitness Barbie workout, and ends with however many minutes Fitness Barbie says to put in for cardio. Right after as well as the day after my walking motion resembles that of a newborn baby giraffe. If yours does as well, then your doing something right.
